New Horizons Community Mental Health Center Inc. is using technology to improve strategic planning. Strategic planning is helping the agency to do a better job - to focus its energy, to ensure that members of the agency are working toward the same goals, to assess and adjust the agency's direction in response to a changing environment. Agency has intranet to meet the information, education and communications needs as articulated by agency personnel. Intranet as defined by CMHC, is a network within the agency that adapts internet technologies to enable access to information and databases of various organizations. The expanded intranet as designed, will have the capacity to provide collaborative communication, work and learning environments, and shared access to various software and applications.
